Like most forms of Obsidian, Apache Tears are used for grounding and protection from negative energies. This crystal also helps to cleanse one of emotional baggage and grief, helping to cleanse and release feelings of woundedness or feelings of victimization. These crystals are found near the Trail of Tears, the concept is that the tears of grief have already been shed and we can learn and grow from a difficult situation.
